Many people have commented that I should replace the term "Bloody Jew" as it may be considered anti-semitic. Having thought long and hard about it, I believe that the term should stay since it is not so much anti-semitic but descriptive, particularly given the current events in Gaza. Any Jew that may wish to object would probably only argue that the term "bloody" should have been used to describe every other faith too including muslims...to which I would AGREE, however it wouldn't fit too well with the poem and wouldn't be such a good read so it stays. Please feel free to comment. I was forced to write this poem as a response to many Muslims who have been clamouring for blood and revenge......Lifelong Jihad

demon raging inside of me,

perchance, i may set it free

consume my soul, lay waste my Peace,

join it’s leader, despised, iblis

my prison is strong, my conscience unyielding

Islam it is, that I am wielding

-

not tears of blood, nor anger or hate

will i let rest, upon my plate

the monster strains, to break it’s bond

but it is my faith, that is strong

-

i pray to Thee, Allah my love

give me strength, give me love

Yours is the Kingdom forever and a day

The Glory, The Might, to You I pray

The Power, The Strength, The Plan is Yours

limitless is Your love that pours

we, Your children, Your lovers

only Your Protection covers

our weakness, our mortal shell

drinks deep from Your well

no strength have we but what You grant

nurture us, feed us, guide us - Your plant

-

set it free, all on earth would die,

screaming, searing heat, earth and sky

oceans and endless seas would boil

mankinds reward for evil toil

from west to east and back again

evil doers, rejoicing, would reign

-

tribes we were, are, will ever be

differences, we will ever see

no unity or love, expressions of hate

striving to be first, at hells gate

compassion, mercy, forgivness, we seek

strength enough, to remain meek

-

to hold fast, the demon within

keep it trapped within our skin

remain, blazing, behind our eyes

never listening to its lies

some demons, freed, torment our brothers,

so that they may free others

-

slivers of pain in our hearts, deep

bloody tears, humiliated, we weep

bursting, to let it out

so that we, too, may shout

see look observe, we’d say

we too can have this day

shed your blood, kill your kin,

let out the rage, demon within,

hindu, christian, bloody jew

see, we are as bad as you

-

demon, jinn, iblis rejoice

console they would, you had no choice

you could not bear your kins torment

we helped you, guided, with intent

fair seeming, to our ears would be

whispering hate, deeds, we could not flee

hold fast the thread, that holds the key

All Powerful, Mighty is HE,

Whose Plan is Best, His Reign Supreme

it is His Victory of which we dream

on that Day will be clear

it is that Day that we must fear

trials, tribulations, life

children, brothers, mother, wife

enemies, friends, our memory

we gasp, when will we be free

seek your Lord, renounce the evil one

Love for All, Hatred for None
